Apprenti ("we", "us") is committed to protecting your personal data under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1. What we collect

Account info: name, email, sign-in provider details.
Content you create: CVs, prep plans, Kanban entries, practice history, chat messages.
Usage data: pages viewed, feature interactions (aggregated).
Optional integrations you connect (e.g. Gmail) — read-only, only to parse application updates.

2. How we use it

To provide the service — save your work, generate personalised prep, run AI features.
To send transactional emails and reminders you request.
To improve the product (aggregated, non-identifying).

3. Legal basis

Contract (delivering the service), legitimate interests (product improvement), consent (marketing, optional integrations).

4. Sharing

We never sell your data. We use vetted processors: Lovable Cloud (hosting/database, EU), Google (auth, Gmail if connected), AI providers via the Lovable AI Gateway.

5. Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection, withdrawal of consent. Email privacy@apprenti.app. You can complain to the ICO.

6. Retention

Account data until you delete your account. Waitlist emails until you unsubscribe.
